Our gardening project with a difference will be the first project we get off the ground. We've been beavering away to lay the foundations for our accessible community garden based at Knowle Avenue allotment and we're excited to say with the help of our trusty volunteers our path is dug and raised beds are in!

Right now it needs some TLC and volunteers to get it growing, but we hope to develop the space into a buzzing, beautiful garden that grows fruit, veg and flowers which will eventually be sold on site as part of our enterprise.

The benefits of therapeutic gardening are well known. We hope to be able to offer regular sessions for those of us with disabilities and mental health difficulties where we can learn about 'growing your own.' It will be a chance to meet other people, and simply enjoy being outdoors and working with the land.
